The purpose of the senior community center program in Pennsylvania is to facilitate the social, emotional, and physical well-being of older Pennsylvanians as part of a comprehensive and coordinated system of services. The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging provides partial funding to the Falls Township Senior Center (FTSC) to act as a focal point in providing these services.
While the basic needs for socialization, accessing information, proper nutrition and social service supports will continue to be part of growing older, many older people have higher expectations of how these services are rendered. FTSC strives to provide a wide variety of activities and services to senior citizens. Ongoing programs include instruction on self-enrichment and living independently, health and wellness, nutrition education, and consumer education. Opportunities to travel, meet new friends, play games, and just generally enjoy the golden years are an important part of our program. In addition, there are many volunteer opportunities.
Accessing this site regularly will keep you up-to-date with all the FTSC activities.
